“The City of Toledo has been a great partner,” said Steve Collins, head of S.J. Collins Enterprises, the project’s developer. “We look forward to facilitating the planning and design process to open the doors to Whole Foods Market as soon as possible.”
A representative from the city was unavailable for comment.

The company’s quality standards for food prohibit artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, preservatives and hydrogenated fats.
“The people of Ohio care about their food and where it comes from, which makes it a perfect fit for Whole Foods Market,” Allshouse said. “Whether you come for the fresh, quality ingredients or our passionate, expert team members, our company’s core values are on display and in action in every aisle of our stores.”
