The City of Toledo has started posting tap water test results on its website. The results, which start with Aug. 13, can be viewed online at http://bit.ly/1pWy1Pk.
The most recent listing is for 9 a.m. Aug. 20, where the test for harmful algae came back “non detect.” A test at 9 a.m. Aug. 19 also came back “non detect” while a test at 9 p.m. that day came back 0.360 parts per billion (ppb). The highest level of toxin detected came on Aug. 15, when a level of 0.972 ppb was detected. The acceptable level for safe drinking water is 1.0 ppb.
The “daily water pumpage” for the Collins Park Water Treatment Plant is also posted at the site, starting with Aug. 13.
