New eatery T-Town Pub n’ Grub opens near Huntington CenterWritten by Chase Will | | email@example.com
Visitors to the Huntington Center now have another after-show food option with the opening of T-Town Pub n’ Grub right across the street.
The restaurant offers games, entertainment and what owner Renee Lutz calls the best food around.
“The nachos are especially good, and the chips are homemade,” Lutz said. “My favorite, though, is the Angry Bird sandwich. It’s spicy and I love it.”
Other noteworthy items are the Turkey Reuben, ham and cheese Panini and BBQ chicken sandwich, all of which are available for lunch and dinner.
Opening the restaurant was a big decision for Lutz, mainly because she’d never previously owned a restaurant. Faith and vision, however, pushed her to follow her instincts and lease the building from a close friend.
After five months of renovations and careful planning for the two-story Downtown building, Lutz opened her doors to positive reviews.
“I’m a single mom trying out a new adventure,” Lutz said. “The building has so much character to it, like the natural brickwork. It’s just what I wanted.”
“It’s a good location for new businesses, since there’s a lot of activity around the area. We’re starting to see an influx of activity all around there,” said Christine Bailey, communications manager at Toledo Chamber of Commerce.
For concert-goers, the fun doesn’t have to stop after watching their favorite bands. T-Town Pub n’ Grub offers cornhole tournaments, billiards and a schedule of entertainers that can be found on its Facebook page.
The restaurant also host private parties in the second-floor banquet room. To book an upcoming event, call (567) 316-7425.
