Andersons moving headquarters to Monclova TownshipWritten by Staff Reports | | firstname.lastname@example.org
The Andersons plans to move its headquarters to Monclova Township, the company announced Nov. 14.
“Quite some time ago we recognized our corporate headquarters could no longer meet the growth requirements of our company,” Chief Operating Officer Hal Reed said in a news release. “After evaluating several alternatives throughout the region, we determined this site to be the most suitable location for our employees, customers and visitors to our headquarters, and the one that provides us with the most flexibility to meet the needs of our company well into the future.
The Andersons purchased seven of the 27 holes at the golf course, or the portion east of Manley Road, Crow said.
The changes mean Brandywine Golf Course will be reconfigured from its current 27-hole course to an 18-hole course, expected to happen in the spring, said Touchstone Golf Executive Vice President & COO Mark Luthman. Brandywine Country Club clubhouse will remain open and operating for club members.
“We have retained the local golf architecture firm of Hills and Forrest, Brandywine’s original architects, to oversee the modification to the course,” Luthman said in the release. “We will be meeting with membership within the next few days to share the plans.”
The purchase is still subject to financial incentives, certain approvals and various land closing conditions, including the approval of a rezoning application, according to the release.
The Andersons was founded in Maumee in 1947.
