A body found on a Carroll Township beach May 6 has been confirmed to be Bryan Huff, one of the two men missing from an April 17 boating accident on Lake Erie, according to a news release from the Ottawa County Coroner’s Office.
The body was recovered on Sand Beach, a private beach, around 6 p.m. May 6, said Chief Jody Hatfield of the Carroll Township Police Department, and was taken to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office for autopsy and identification.
Huff, 31, of Rossford was one of four people on a fishing boat that was found capsized in Lake Erie on April 17. The bodies of Amy Santus, 33, of Perrysburg Township, and Paige Widmer, 16, of Pelion, S.C., were recovered shortly after the accident. Still missing is Andrew Rose, 33, of Maumee.
