DLZ, a large architectural and engineering consulting firm, has announced plans to open an office in Downtown Toledo.

DLZ has leased space on the sixth floor at One Seagate and is preparing the space for its Toledo office, according to Tom Sisley; senior vice president at DLZ who is responsible for opening the office.

Sisley said they expect to open the Toledo office in early to mid-April.

DLZ has served clients in Toledo and Northwest Ohio for many years and was a member of the team that developed the Veterans’ Glass City Skyway project.

“As the economy continues to improve, we believe this is an excellent time to expand the company’s presence within the state of Ohio,” Vikram Rajadhyaksha, CEO and founder of DLZ, stated in a press release that announced plans to open the new office.

“We look forward to better serving our clients in Northwest Ohio and also to increasing the firm’s practice in that part of the state,” he stated.

The Toledo office joins three others in Ohio located in Columbus, Cleveland and Cuyahoga Falls. The firm also has offices in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Michigan.

DLZ ranks among the Top150 design firms in the U.S., according to the Engineering News-Record.
