The Rockets toppled Coastal Carolina on the road 10-7 in 11 innings on March 9, snapping a six-game losing streak. Toledo had previously lost eight of its last nine, including a 10-4 loss to the Chanticleers two days earlier.

Sophomore catcher James Miglin was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to bring home the go-ahead run in the 11th and senior right fielder Jeff Cola singled to extend the lead to its final, 10-7.
Junior Michael Hamann got the start over Coastal Carolina (5-5) and threw five innings allowing five runs (four earned) with two strikeouts, giving way to junior Cody Umbright, who allowed two runs in two innings. Senior closer Matt Kuna (2-0) pitched the final four innings for the win, holding the Chanticleers scoreless while allowing just one hit.
Corfman led the Rockets going 2 for 4 with three runs and three RBI. Miglin (1 for 5, R, 4 RBI) drove in a game-high four runs while Cola (2 for 6, 2 RBI) brought home two.
