During a whirlwind session of interviews with local media Aug. 29 at the Huntington Center, several season 9 “American Idol” contestants spoke with Toledo Free Press about touring, recording and leaving behind the group of people they have been with side-by-side since January. Full interviews will be posted soon, but as a teaser to the Toledo concert, here is how each “Idol” answered the quick question, “What are the first three words that pop into your head when you hear, “Crystal Bowersox?”

Michael Lynche: “Peace. Love. Happiness.”

Andrew Garcia: “Beautiful mother.”

Tim Urban: “Incredible talent. Passionate.”

Siobhan Magnus: “Mustache (I won’t tell you why). [Baby] Tony. Sunflowers.”

Aaron Kelly: “Motherly. Amusing. Interesting.”

Crystal Bowersox: “Miraculously OK.”
