A new filing from the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office is expected this afternoon in the Steven W. King case.
King appeared in court this morning, where his final pretrial was moved to 11:30 a.m. tomorrow (Dec. 3) in anticipation of the new filing. No further information on the filing was available.
King’s trial is still set for Dec. 9.
King and his ex-girlfriend Angela Steinfurth are charged with obstruction of justice in the case of Steinfurth’s 18-month-old daughter Elaina, who was reported missing in June and whose body was found in King’s mother’s East Toledo garage in September.
Steinfurth also has a pretrial set for Dec. 3. No trial date has been set for her.
