Rock the Bowl to raise money for food bankWritten by Holly Tuey | | email@example.com
Last year, Rock the Bowl raised $2,000 – enough for 8,000 meals. Organizers are hoping to surpass that amount this year.
“Fighting hunger requires a partnership between the charitable, private, and public sectors. We are very grateful to Interrupt Marketing for their fun event to help to feed hungry families during the holidays,” said James M. Caldwell, president and CEO of the food bank. “We all have a vested interest in working together to ensure that our neighbors and friends in need have nutrition assistance programs available to help them. Our member agencies see first-hand the impact hunger has on food insecure families.”
Secor Lanes is located at 5520 Secor Road. If you can’t make it to the event but would like to donate, visit this website or mail a check to Interrupt at 6622 Maplewood Ave., Sylvania, OH, 43560.
