Peace Love & Pottery studio to open July 19Written by Matt Liasse | | firstname.lastname@example.org
Julianne Reinhart’s passion for ceramics motivated her to open her own business, Peace Love & Pottery Studio, which will have its grand opening noon July 19.
Reinhart’s passion dates back to when she was a child. Her favorite part of art class was playing with clay.
“It’s really a dream come true,” she said. “I hope it’s a place for the community to have quality time with their family members and friends.”
The studio will offer customers hands-on experience. They will be able to handle wet clay and paint their own pottery. The studio will also offer classes for beginners and Reinhart will make pottery to sell at the studio as well.
Reinhart said the studio is perfect for birthday parties and nights out. She used to have a studio at her home on a smaller scale.
“It just needed to grow,” she said.
The grand opening will feature a ribbon cutting by Sylvania City Council members, refreshments and tours of the studio.
Studio hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Peace Love & Pottery Studio will be located at 6750 Sylvania Ave. near McCord.
