The last time they were hiring 911 operators, I had applied went through everything even my family members, neighbors and others were called had finger prints done back ground check credit check and then WHAM!!!! a hiring freeze was put into effect through the City. Apply for this job and you will walk on pins and needles waiting just to be disappointed!!! The employee's that are there are doing a great job, I would have loved to be part of that team. Wow, unbelievable!!! He rules by fear much like his wife did when she dictated her will in that department. Until he leaves nothing will change. That is why my wife left. He's more interested in his little helicopter than the welfare of his employees. Council would be wise to investigate him, his practice of only taking good looking female cops for helicopter rides, and favoritism in promoting females who are not even on the promotional list. Collins hit the nail on the head when he described a hostile work environment. Its the most hostile environment I've ever seen and the command does nothing to stop it.
