IHOP offering free pancakes Feb. 5
Written by Staff Reports | | news@toledofreepress.comIHOP will be giving away free pancakes on Feb. 5 in recognition of National Pancake Day, but the restaurant chain also hopes the gesture will help raise $3 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 5, guests can get a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes while supplies last. The promotion is for dine-in customers only and guests cannot use any other offer, special, coupon or discount.
In return, guests will be encouraged to make a voluntary contribution to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The nonprofit partners with 170 hospitals across the country. All funds raised locally will benefit Mercy Children’s Hospital in Toledo.
Since 2006, IHOP has helped raise more than $10 million for local charities through its National Pancake Day giveaways.
Local participating IHOPs include 6535 Airport Hwy. in Holland, 10151 Fremont Pike in Perrysburg and 4045 Talmadge Road in Toledo.
