Frank Venner, was doing a story near Keyser Elementary School, on Hill Ave.near an apartment building where I was visiting a friend, circa 1979.

We both had many qtr. sticks of dynamite for the upcoming Memorial Day Holiday.
Every time Frank, put the microphone to his mouth to begin his report, we would throw one interrupting his spot.
After three attempts, Frank, smiled at where he thought we were, packed up, and split !

A little bit later, a T.P.D. patrolmen circled the apartment complex where we once again threw a qtr. stick at the cop, he stopped right where the bang-bang landed, directly under the patrolman's gas tank !?

KABOOM !!!

The cop sunk in his seat, eventually got out to inspect what had happened.

And to maybe, check his underwear also !

Back in the early '60s I worked a little with Frank Venner at WSPD-TV 13 when I put together live commercials for Cliff Clark Appliances during breaks in, I think, either pro wrestling or feature movies. He was one of the easiest guys to work with I can remember; referred to one of my spots as "big."
