The UT women’s basketball team is looking to extend its winning streak to seven games this week when it travels to Kent to take on Kent State at noon Feb. 4. The game will be televised on SportsTime Ohio and ESPN3.
The Rockets (14-7, 7-2 Mid-American Conference) remain tied atop the MAC West Division with Eastern Michigan (15-7, 7-2 MAC).
Kent State is third in the MAC East with a 5-14 record, including a 4-5 mark in league play. Toledo will look to extend its winning streak to 12 games against teams from the MAC East.
Sophomore point guard Andola Dortch leads the Rockets in points (13.4), assists (4.5) and steals (2.1). Senior guard Courtney Ingersoll is coming off a career-high 23 points against Akron and is sixth in the nation in three-point percentage (45.3).
The Golden Flashes are led by junior guard Trisha Krewson, who is averaging 11.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per contest.
