UT head coach Tim Beckman

A source close to the Toledo football program confirmed to the Toledo Free Press that a player’s meeting has been called for 7 a.m. on Dec. 9, likely to announce the departure of UT Head Coach Tim Beckman.

In his third year at the helm of the Rockets, Beckman has posted a 21-16 record and has taken the team to a bowl game for the second straight season.

Toledo is set to take on Air Force in the Military Bowl on Dec. 28 at 4:30 p.m. in Washington D.C.
