It's obvious to state we only have the Board of Elections they want us to have.

The act of firing two individuals will not change what has happened in the past, nor correct any future problems. In fact many of the reported issues that have tarnished this office predate the tenure of Howe and Demegall. I recall that the BOE was under probation during Taft's tenure in Columbus.

The daily local is the only constant at the BOE of the past 10 years. The daily has made much profit out of misstating the facts on issues such as this.

It is doubtful that with the individuals waiting in the wings that anything will be made better. Especially if the daily local has anything to say.
