I'm certain that the folks in pre-1992 communist Poland,Czechoslovakia, etc. thought that being so close to Free countries, like Switzerland, Germany,France, etc.to escape to... was a hopeful thing in their minds. Too bad razor wire, gun turrets, and a sanguinary bent, prevented that hope from becoming reality ! Toledo, is Officially Little Detroit, with all the horrific baggage entailed. Too bad for us who are trapped in the few decent pockets remaining of what was once a prosperous & thriving City. No more, no more...relocation from Little Detroit, is a THRIVING & BOOMING,business.
