Great story! Does anyone reading this know Diana and David DeBacker? They should consider registering Bullfrog BBQ sauce with the Ohio Secretary of State as a trade name in Ohio. Also, they might want to investigate registering the name and any associated images with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in D.C.

The other companies using the same name may try to stop the DeBackers from using 'Bullfrog' if they at least don't make efforts to protect this name in Ohio. Next time I'm in Kroger's, I'll ask the manager to stock it. In the meantime, I'll look for it elsewhere.

Norm Vaughn & family, Swanton / Fulton County entrepreneur, introduced us to his magnificent " Mississippi Bar-B-Q Sauce",back in the late 80's.

And now, he's doing a wee bit better than his truck driving days !

Much better indeed !
