Most of us in this section will just donate the money to the tornado survivors. we do not want to listen to loud so-called music with yelling, screaming voices!
This comment was posted on June 25th, 2010 at 1:59 pmwow what a jerk you are Sue,guess what, most of us do want to hear Crystal sing, and love the fact that she is a concerned enough former resident to use her new found celebrity for something worthwhile. You on the other hand sound like a mean spirited, ugly individual and it always seems that people like you, like roaches, are the ones who unfortunately survive disasters.
This comment was posted on June 25th, 2010 at 3:03 pmSue,you are a very mean spirited person. Why would you even bother coming on here to post such a horrible comment.Go crawl back under your rock. The rest of us adore Crystal and the fact that she truly cares for these victims.
This comment was posted on June 25th, 2010 at 6:15 pmI believe ‘almost’ all of us are ‘normal’ human being. We are capable to see the BEAUTY of Crystal’s character & personality, regardless of what music she performs. Not so long ago, Crystal was in many occasions not knowing how to provide herself with meal and/or insulin for her diabetes. Now immediately after she is better off, her first act is to share what is precious to her (autographed guitar by Melissa Etheridge & others) with the people who are in unfortunate situation. Hope only few (‘non-normal’) human beings won’t be able to see that BEAUTY. A person so-called Sue is among this group of (in-)human.
This comment was posted on June 25th, 2010 at 7:35 pmI’ve found this following interview does showcase Crystal’s character & personality clearly. It’s really worthwhile to watch it and to witness how wonderful her character is. Crystal is not only beautiful outwardly but also inwardly and super talented as singer, musician and artist. Crystal Bowersox is THE Idol of America.

Amen Anthony!
This comment was posted on June 25th, 2010 at 9:00 pmIf what ‘Sue’ meant with “music with yelling & screaming” is such as “Up To The Mountain”, ‘Sue’ should have been hired as American Idol and replaced all the current ones.
This comment was posted on June 25th, 2010 at 9:25 pm“Up To The Mountain”, Simon final critique for 9 yrs as a judge: ‘outstanding’ and by far the ‘best’ performance; Kara said: the most emotionally invested performance; Ellen said: Crystal is unique and incomparable and in her own league; Randy said: one of the ‘best’ performances, ‘amazing song by an amazing singer, ‘incredible performance’ as a tribute to culminate the Season 9 and the leaving of Simon Cowell as a judge. Wow, any comment Sue?
Hi Sue,
I was just wondering what “section” you reference. I don’t know why individuals such as yourself are so compelled to be negative. Why comment????
This comment was posted on June 25th, 2010 at 9:26 pmAnyone missed Crystal’s performance on The Tonight Show on 6/21/10 can enjoy it in Crystal’s website (www.crystalbowersox.com).
This comment was posted on June 25th, 2010 at 9:44 pmCrystal performed “What’s Up” (originally by Linda Perry/4 non blondes)(Anyone wants to know who she is can check it in Wikipedia.com. She has written hit songs for Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Courtney Love, Kelley Osbourne etc.) beautifully and backed it with full of emotion(Remember what Kara DioGuardi remark was).
“What’s Up” is an expression of crying-out heart with melodious tune.
According to ‘Sue’, “What’s Up” should be considered ‘music with yelling & screaming’. So ‘Sue’ could write “better” hit songs than Linda Perry I suppose.
It is remarkable to know that Crystal was the one who was assigned to promote the American Idol Live Tour which will kick off on July 1 by performing one of her songs on the tour on The Jay Leno Show. She is the runner-up, isn’t she, Sue? If ‘Sue’ and other-same-minded individuals are backers of the Title Winner, do they NEED to DOWNGRADE the runner-up? If yes, why? I’m just wondering.
This comment was posted on June 25th, 2010 at 9:55 pmThank you Andrew for posting that interview with Crystal. I had not seen that. Her having to beg for insulin just broke my heart. I know there are probably a lot of people out there in her situation but she never gave up. I think Crystal is an amazing singer and even if she didn’t win the title of American Idol, in my book, she is the winner. I just love her and think she is amazing.
This comment was posted on June 26th, 2010 at 10:01 amAndrew, What Randy Jackson was trying to say but stopped just short was, “Best Performance Ever.” Crystal is the best singer/songwriter/musician/artist ever on American Idol. Crystal isn’t a Runner-up and if you watched American Idol this season it was apparent, “Crystal Bowersox had no peers on AI!”
This comment was posted on June 26th, 2010 at 11:19 amReading the post of this announcement of the radio program and auction by the Toledo Free Press Writers. it is to inform the public of the auction and benefits for the tornado survivor and not just to find or win supporters for anyone no matter who they happen to be or not be.
With the news releases of our Federal Government turning down of help for the tornado areas, etc. everyone just needs to help (in any way they can) the tornado survivors without asking or wanting anything in return!
This comment was posted on June 26th, 2010 at 7:51 pmI get very discouraged when I see comments like Sue’s. Crystal doesn’t need to help out the tornado victims, she is choosing to. How wonderful that she hasn’t forgotten where she came from. Since I first saw Crystal on “Idol”, I just was amazed. Sue, have you seen her perform? Have you watched an interview? She seems like a person with a heart of gold. A person that has suffered, and doesn’t want others to suffer. She has a beautiful voice!! She seems to have a beautiful soul!! I was thrilled to hear that Crystal would be performing!! I believe that we all have a right to our own opinion, but Sue, you should only speak for yourself!!!
This comment was posted on June 27th, 2010 at 3:50 pmMany people are discouraged about all kinds of things; however, all of those that were actually in and survived the tornado have it all engraved in their minds 24 hour a day with no where to get away from it and that is exactly the reason we need to focas on them and not someone else no matter who they might be!
