McNamara makes Senate run official

Written by Toledo Free Press Staff Writers | | news@toledofreepress.com

Toledo City Councilman Joe McNamara announced Feb. 8 that he will be a candidate for the 11th District seat in the Ohio State Senate being vacated by Teresa Fedor, who is term-limited. McNamara will file petitions later this month to enter the May 4 Democratic primary, according to a news release.

“I’m running because our community needs strong, independent leaders in Columbus to stand up to the special interests and fight for the priorities of the middle class,” McNamara said in the release. “More must be done to bring down the cost of government while targeting investment in mission-critical areas like job creation, job training, and Ohio’s clean energy future.”

If this Demonrat, does for Ohio, what he has done to Toledo , well then , we’ll have just another sequential Dimbulb, enriching himself, all the while doing absolutely NOTHING for his constituents.
What is it with you Demonrats, who accept zero after zero after zero, who never ever, do a thing for Toledo, and yet, they capture your vote every time ?!
Really, you folks reward LIBERAL FAILURE, as if it’s some sort of mental and physical disease, which prevents you dimwits from doing otherwise ?! It actually , renders you people incapable of distinquishing reality , from fallacy ?!

There has to be a pill for that…please, TAKE IT SOON !!

“Councilman George Sarantou, chairman of council’s finance committee, acknowledged that the timing is not perfect but said the pay raises were justified.”

Pay raises at a time of fiscal downturn, and Sarantou supports it, and what partry is he a member of?

Regardless of party affiliation and or rhetoric, it does boil down to leadership and that comes from the person, not the party.
