EA Blogger’s Day event – Part 6

Bart Menayas and Matt Salazar presented SimAnimals Africa at this year’s Electronic Arts’ Blogger’s Day event in Redwood City, California. This next installment of the SimAnimals game series give players more control while providing role playing management options involving hunger, thirst and fun. Players can feed, pet and control animals while the drum themed music drive game elements like mini games, special items and collectibles like fish, fruits, bugs and flowers.
The handy backpack feature allows large transfers where players can stash their items and even move several animals at a time. Animals have unique defensive and offensive abilities, which provide some funny situations and useful techniques, which can drive dangerous predators out of an area. The storyline centers on land restoration by following clues and investigating human traces left behind in playable areas. SimsAnimals Africa is now available on the Nintendo Wii and DS consoles. The Nintendo DS version includes a special parrot feature where players can speak into the microphone.
