Nerf N-Strike Elite

Chase Payne and Sharon Kapitula presented the Nintendo Wii exclusive Nerf N-Strike Elite at this year’s Electronic Arts’ Blogger’s Day event in Redwood City, California. This first person shoot ‘em up features special controller functions and features. The Switch Shot EX-3 works both as a real Nerf gun (special holes on the tips create a cool whistling sound) and a controller. Simply release the front holder, bring out the pull back firing mechanism and insert the Wii remote. The red reveal technology uses an attachable flip up screen to see hidden messages or weak spots on larger targets.

Players can also hit a release bar with their thumb to move this special screen up. Movements are automatic so players can concentrate on targets while carrying up to four different guns and tons of ammunition without slowing down. Blasters can be customized and there are no secondary attacks like grenades. The two player mode features exclusive areas within the eight levels of gameplay. Players can choose from four characters to conquer levels and their bosses with a partner. Nerf N-Strike Elite also features three save profiles and is rated E and recommended for ages 6 and over.
