Columbia Gas of Ohio filed its Gas Cost Recovery (GCR) adjustment for November with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, making costs 53-percent lower than last year.

The price adjustment reflects current market conditions and set the gas at $.56 cents per 100 cubic feet.

An energy efficiency program, Simple Energy Solutions, has recently been announced to help consumers save up to $180 annually by utilizing programmable thermostats and energy efficient showerheads. Residential customers are eligible for rebates of $10 and $25 off select products.
