Columbia Gas recommends budget payment planWritten by David Steffen | | email@example.com
Natural gas rates are at a seven-year low for Columbia Gas of Ohio customers, but the company asks them to consider enrollment in the budget payment plan.
The program divides a customer’s natural gas prices evenly between the twelve months. According to a Columbia Gas news release, the average monthly rate for 2000-2010 is $78, down from an average of $103.
A variety of factors contribute to each customer’s gas bills, so actual prices may be higher or lower than the average.
Columbia Gas said it encourages customers to enroll this month to maximize the amount of months and lower the average monthly bill.
Customers interested in the budget plan may pay the promoted amount on their August bill, enroll online at www.columbiagasohio.com under “manage account” or call (800) 344-4077.
