Hi, my name is George and I am seeking a career as a country and or gospel music talent scout. I set up karaoke at a local country jam twice a year in Michigan and meet alot of great singers. I have been a church music director for over 30 years, do some gospel singing myself, and know and meet alot of gospel singers. I would appreciate any information or help on getting started in this business. Does anyone possibly know of any recording companies, recording studios, or anyone else in the music industry, that hires or is looking for music talent scouts, that are new to the business?

Science deniers?

Seems to me like the global warming alarmists are the ones denying actual science.

And as far as I can tell, that WSJ article didn't debunk anything.

What a God-awful article. Young Tom should repent and be more faithful to the facts. The Spain study was debunked by the Wall Street Journal, no less.

http://blogs.wsj.com/environmentalcapital/2009/03/30/green-jobs-ole-is-the-spanish-clean-energy-push-a-cautionary-tale/

We can only pray that Tom takes some time to learn what "climate" means. Temperatures may fluctuate from year to year, but the Earth's temperature has been steadily warming since the Industrial Revolution--in part due to man's burning of fossil fuels.

Science deniers like young Tom can keep their heads in the sand all they want. But please step aside first so the grown-ups can get to work.

We want alternatives to the status quo, we cannot be held hostage to foreign leaders who are hostile to us and sell us oil, was the noise for the last few years and continues.

The "green" industry is any thing but green, well, except for profits for the backers and supporters, T. Boone Pickens, didn't sink his money into the wind sector, because he is an environmentalist, no, he is out to make a profit, buy what ever means at his disposal, oil, wind, solar, any way to make more money.

Solar panels are made with polycrystalline silicon, hardly a green process.

The wind turbines are made with large amounts of steel, hardly green.

The "green jobs" are so limited in scope and numbers and there is simply not enough to make up for the number of people looking for work.

Using Spain as an example, shows one side, while Germany has seen growth in the green industry
