I have been to Tanga, and other parts of Tanzania, several times and I absolutely love it. You will be shocked at how tropical Tanga is and you will love the pristine white beaches that stretch for miles on the Indian Ocean. The Swahili people are the most friendliest people you will ever meet. However, do not take their photo without their permission because it is very rude. There's plenty of fresh bottled water, the food is delicious and the assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables will amaze you. Have a great trip.
