A Birthday party for Metro Salon in Toledo will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. May 1.

The salon will also open an art exhibit featuring BGSU student Missy King. About a dozen photographs by the artist will be on display.

“We really enjoy art and going to different art functions and want to try to bring it to the salon,” said Metro Salon Owner Dawn McNear.

The salon is also looking for four candidates to receive a before-and-after makeover. McNear said people can visit the salon before May 1 and they will select candidates at the party.

There will also be gift bags, discounts and all gift certificates bought during the party will be 10 percent off.
