I also want to point out that homeschooling families in Ohio have to register their children at the public school, from which they receive a letter "permitting" them to home educate their child(ren). The school gets the government funding for those children, but doesn't have to teach them. So why is the teacher's union seemingly against homeschooling? Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me!
