Blog It: Money at the root of bloggingWritten by Lisa Renee Ward | | email@example.com
Would you take financial advice when it comes to money from a blog?
Many do, which is part of the reason for the popularity of this blog category. One of the top blogs out there on the topic of money is aptly titled, The MoneyBlogs. It’s where you’ll find a variety of posts on just about
every category related to dollars and cents.
Interested in getting rich? Then Get Rich Slowly might be where you want to spend some time. This blog was rated by CNN as one of the top money blogs in 2008. Even if you only venture into reading the category of “popular posts” you’ll get quite a bit of information.
If you are looking to make money from blogging, there are several top blogs in that category, one that is felt by many to be “the one” to visit is ProBlogger where you can learn more than just how to monetize your blog. In between those topics there are posts that can show you how to be a better blogger.
Another popular blogger many turn to in how to win friends, be influential and make money while blogging is John Chow. I enjoy reading John’s work, I especially recommend a recent post entitled, “How The Internet Really Began” as a great example of the entertainment value this blog can provide in addition to some great tips.
Even the Federal government has blogs about money, such as this one about Grants. It’s a quick and easy way to get informed about new grants, which grants are expiring and how quickly the grant system is responding. There could be a grant out there waiting for you.
Also brought to you by our federal government is Mymoney.gov, a handy place for reference information and tips. They have a “My Money” Tool Kit that you can order free of charge, calculators and I highly recommend seeing how you fare in taking the “Money 20 Interactive Quiz.”
