TMACOG officers elected
Written by Toledo Free Press Staff Writers | | news@toledofreepress.comAt the annual business meeting and general assembly of the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG) Jan. 29, elections were held for officers.
Officers are elected for one-year terms. According to a news release, the 2009 officers are:
- Tina Skeldon Wozniak, Lucas County commissioner, was elected TMACOG chair for a second term
- Ted Rutherford, mayor of Green Springs, was also re-elected for his second term as TMACOG vice chair
- Carol Contrada, vice chair Sylvania Township trustees, was elected TMACOG second vice chair
TMACOG has approximately 150 members in nine counties in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. TMACOG’s transportation planning area is Lucas and Wood counties and the three southern townships of Monroe County, Michigan.
