Long on words and emotion, short on substance and real solutions. Are there any more examples of "regulations and fees" that are hostile to business besides the garbage tax? The key phrase of the whole article is "we want to endorse...candidates". The best is the last paragraph though. Let me add the words in caps that he left out. "We do it because we love Toledo'S MONEY; we love its people'S MONEY, and we want to reclaim itS MONEY for our children and grandchildren." If you truly love Toledo, don't waste so many volunteers' time and effort trying to get signatures to oust a politician who doesn't have enough power to destroy local business, and send them to help local charities where they can truly make a difference. This whole campaign is nothing more than political positioning and I hope everyone is smart enough to see that. And just because you're a businessman doesn't mean you're intelligent or righteous. You can't trust a businessman (money) anymore than you can trust a politician (power). This businessman sure sounds like a politician.
