But I just can't get past your fourth paragraph where you imply parents, if they could afford to do so, would hire a babysitter so they can enjoy church services in peace. "Or maybe it’s unfair to blame the parents, because they just couldn’t afford a babysitter." As a father of three, the thought never occurred to me to leave the kids home while my wife and I go to church. I've never heard anyone from the pulpit advise parents to leave their kids home on Sunday mornings. I think Christ had something to say about pesky kids, too. But, maybe I am reading more into your statement than you intended. If so... sorry about that. You make some very good points, Mr. Harpen.
