Celebrating Christmas with ChristWritten by Aya Khalil | | firstname.lastname@example.org
Giving the gift of Christ is popular at Christmastime, according to Sheila Churchill, manager of Churchill’s Religious Goods and Gifts, 2748 Tremainsville Road.
“Jesus is my All in All,” by Mother Teresa, is a book of her most inspiring quotes, and a popular gift choice for Christians.
“It immortalizes the words and wisdom of one of humanity’s most radiant women,” Churchill said.
Also, “Private and Pithy Lessons from Scripture” by Mother Angelica is another excellent choice to give as a gift.
“Mother [Angelica] takes you through the scriptures, pulling lessons for daily living in her irrepressible way,” she said.
Another popular gift is a nativity set or adding pieces to the set a person already has, she said. Churchill also recommends daily prayer books, in particular “God Calling.”
“It seems to cross faith and gender lines and appeal to anyone of faith. It comes as an inexpensive paperback for $5.97 or a simulated leather cover for $14.97,” she said.
“Another would be an Advent meditation book or booklet, which would be perfect for the Christmas season.”
