Its good to the that the prosecutor’s office is going to hold both parties responsible. Why would Troy Neff only be charged with a misdemeanor?

I AM JEFF’S AUNT AND LOVE HIM DEARLY–HE IS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND IAM SO RELIEVED THAT HE WILL BE OK- ALSO THE OTHER MAN TOO- THEY BOTH SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN THIER CARS AND DRIVEN OFF. So…why was Neff not charged for tackling and punching this guy? He shouldn’t have stabbed him, but I don’t understand why Neff was charged with assault. For that matter, why won’t Neff testify? Seems odd…
