If I'm BG's A.D. and I get continuous reports from the police department about football players getting into trouble, and if I get reports about football players not going to class, thereby not graduating on time so as to make the school lose football scholarships, then I fire the coach. He's lost control of his team and he is a detriment to the program. Coaching college football is not just about wins and losses anymore.
