It’s time for the good people of Toledo to rise up and throw ol’ King Carty out of office!

This hack politician has been an absolute embarrassment to the city of Toledo for as long as I can remember. The anti-business climate in Toledo is only a portion of Carty’s sad legacy. It’s not too late to save our city from becoming a ghost town along I-75 – Let’s Join Together and Recall Carty!

i work for ohio petition company you should hire them we have done this sort of thing and are very good at it.Plus I would love to see Carty go I live in the old south end and he has done nothing but clolse down the only pool around here for the kids

I’m on Social Security Disability…I can’t afford to move and can’t afford Carty’s bike paths and Southwyck flowers and all these stupid levies. If folks are so enamored of flowers or bike paths or COSI or the Schools, do fund raisers donating their personal funds and stay out of my thin wallet. I wanted to sign the last petition, but no one knew where to go to sign one. Where did they ever come up with the insanity of having 2 democrats face each other in November? What has happened to the Republicans? Carty has done so much damage to this area with his blustering. He has made the town a joke nationwide. Deaf living at the airport, throwing a coffee cup at a city worker, illegally firing 3 black city workers, orchestrating Hartung’s dismissal, Erie St Market, dissing the Marines and one of the worst screw ups was the disrespect of Police Chief Jack Smith. How much longer are we going to let this man call us “Baboons”? Where’s the new petitions? I’ll gladly sign up.

It is good to see this being attempted again. What I don’t understand is how he keeps getting elected in the first place. And most people I talk to understand exactly. This City is going down fast. We need someone in office that cares about more than themselves.
A leader will listen to the needs and desires of the people, and make a well informed decision based on what they believe is the best thing for the people. I do not believe Carty has ever done that. How are we going to support Cosi, or a Marina district If we can’t afford our Police officers? The Auto industry is in Major trouble, and we need companies in here that are looking forward in our comunity. Like the alternitive energy plant in Perrysburg. Now that is future.
If we don’t have Jobs here,( and they are going fast) we will have more crime, and less and less city. We can’t afford a mayor who can’t get along with his own Sherif. Southwyck is dead. The comunity around that area can not afford a Mall. Moove on! And how dare he say I live in a subburb or am not loyal. That is his only way he knows how to respond to anything. Insults without Knowledge, ending with an explanation of how great he is. Whatever. Most of us still here are working to live basically. So beceause we do not work in public service, we are sub human?
If everyone left the city that did not work in public service Carty, Who would be here to be served? you sir would have no City. And how do you know what comunity serviece or voulenteer work we do?
