The Monroe Dodge Jeep Chrysler Superstore announced a new promotion, “Let’s Keep America Working!” with special discounts, rebates and bonus cash with savings up to $17,500 per vehicle for customers.
The promotion was launched by this individual Chrysler dealer hoping that other dealers will follow its lead and join in its support of American auto workers, said Ralph Mahalak Jr. co-owner of the dealership in Monroe, Mich. and Buckeye Chrysler in Shelby.
“Our country and company needs this business, and we wanted to create some excitement in the car business,” Mahalak said.
The new sales program is designed to increase consumer confidence by introducing what Mahalak called “ground-breaking incentives” available at the Monroe dealership through Nov. 30.
In addition to the incentives, customers may purchase one vehicle at promotional prices and buy an additional Dodge Nitro or Jeep Liberty built in Toledo for $11,111.
“This may be a bit of a loss, but everyone has to do their part,” Mahalak said. “We’re doing everything we can to keep those workers successful.
“We are extremely proud to work so closely with our Chrysler Jeep employees and UAW teams at the Toledo assembly plants,”
The Toledo North and South plants produce the Dodge Nitro, Jeep Liberty and Wrangler models. During the last three weeks, the Monroe dealership has ordered more than 250 cars and trucks in an attempt to “keep America working.”
“At the Superstore, there is no credit crunch,” said J.P. Mahalak, his brother and co-owner. “We maintain successful relationships with several lending institutions to insure the best credit.”
