The Storm, which is exclusive to Verizon Wireless, after a $50 mail-in-rebate, will cost $199.99 with a new two-year service plan.

BlackBerry’s maker, Research In Motion made BlackBerry Storm the “world’s first clickable touch screen,” Merritt said. “This means when you touch the screen it’s almost like a mouse on a computer.”

“The first thing someone will notice when they actually pick up and hold one of these things is the clickable touch screen,” she said.

Merritt said people said they felt “much more confident,” when testing the Storm in demonstrations across the country, because of that “click ability”

“You get a little click that feels very much like a physical keyboard but it’s all touch screen.”

Merritt said people are excited for the new phone with added security to come out.

More than 3,000 people entered What Would You Do for a BlackBerry Storm from www.CrackBerry.com contest around the world. The theme of the entry was “extreme brand loyalty.”

Ten people won a free BlackBerry Storm and TJ Huling of Toledo was one of them.

“I’m pretty happy about it,” said Huling who owns a BlackBerry and will pick up his new Storm this on Nov. 21.

Huling said he got his tattoo done at Revelation Tattoos on Alexis Road during the second week of November.

Globally, customers can use the device for voice in over 200 countries and for data, 250 countries.

“It’s pretty significant in a global perspective,” she said.

An eight gigabyte micro SD card is preinstalled in the phone, and a 3.2 megapixel camera, and a built in-GPS Merritt said.

Video and audio quality on the phone is exceptional. Customers can view and edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint attachments. The phone features an html browser, the ability to sync iTunes and watch high quality videos.

Merritt said the device is appropriate for business users.

“This device has got everything they need for their nine to five experiences,” she said.
