And the world yawns…
This comment was posted on October 31st, 2008 at 10:43 pmNot really. People in California are in fighting huge social-battle right now. You may be yawning but don’t assume the rest of the world is as lethargic as you on this. Impressionable young Children (2nd graders) who are in the midst of their very fragile development are being targeted by those a pro-gay agenda radicals. Curriculum designed to teach KIDS, (yes KIDs) that homosexual unions are the equivalent of marriage. This is despicable. A sort of lets get em when their young mentality. SF teachers taking elementary kids to same sex weddings, Massachusetts courts saying parents don’t have the rights to notification when taught about this. This is a cultural battle that is very significant to me, a man raising small children. If we don’t voice our displeasure then we will loose the right to object. So roll over and go back to sleep on my friend, but I for one am VERY awake. Yours truly, A wide awake dad who cares!
This comment was posted on November 5th, 2008 at 8:47 pmThis is NOT a civil rights issue. Black people cannot wake up one morning and not be black. Ethnicity and gender are 100% congenitally predetermined. Homosexual attraction is NOT. Putting it on the same level as such is an affront to black people everywhere. By the way the black vote was the strongest voice for prop 8. Look at the statistics. A great many of the same people who voted Barak Obama to become the first black president ALSO voted Against Gay marriage as a civil right. The scientific, psychological, and physiological evidence supports their voting logic. Homosexual same-sex attraction is in state of constant flux. Even the Kinsey spectrum acknowledges that 9 of 10 person with same-sex attractions will experience at least one shift on the spectrum and more than half 6 out of 10 will experience two or more shifts. Research has proven that intensity of impulses can change over time based on choices regarding fantasy life, responses to social and environmental factors in childhood & adolescence. Hollywood elites get over your bias and acknowledge the facts before you make yourselves look even more foolish. The Late Great Martin Luther King Jr. would not call your cause a civil right. See Dr. Gagnon, PH.D. open letter to a University president who fired a staff for voicing her opinion.
