It’s the End of the World!Written by Lisa Renee Ward | | email@example.com
No matter which political side of the spectrum you are on, chances are you have heard how if one candidate or the other wins, it will mean the end of the world or some other dire prediction. So, what better time than to take a look at blogs that predict, the end of the world. Some are done in humor, some appear to be serious and some? Looks like they got it wrong.
First, The Apocalypse or “It’s the end of the world as we know it” that shares an interesting description on the “about” page. “Of course, “apocalypse” doesn’t necessarily mean the end of the world. And “end of the world” can be a metaphor… “everything changes”. The idea thrills me. Everything changes. It’s scary. It’s exciting. Can the condition of the world itself change? Or is it more personal? We’re each heading for our own private apocalypse… in decades, years, months, days… maybe even minutes.” This is a great blog for movie reviews, including zombies and updates on groups who have declared “today is the day.”
Alas, the title of this next blog may be The End of the World but it’s about anime. It’s still a great blog about anime though, so if the world was really going to end and you needed to know which anime you wanted to watch? I’d recommend it.
Looking for some hints as to when you can tell if the world is really ending? The head over to NeatOrama for a golden oldie on the signs from a variety of religions and cultures that the end is near.
Well it appears that at the Blog at the End of the World the end of the world was so enthralling that they never even really started blogging, deciding that they might start up blogging again in October. What if the world ends before then?
At the Divine Divination Blog a variety of topics are covered including theories on the world ending in 2012. A recent post covers another prediction of the world ending, related to the Mayan calendar predictions.
I was disappointed to learn that I missed Blog like it is the end of the world day which was this past June 13th. Thankfully the world did not end then. Though it appears other bloggers felt it might…
Over at the Cars Blog they suggest with all of the worrying about the world ending, that there are some things you should make sure you do before you die. Now I’m depressed because I doubt I’ll be able do any of them, except knowing that I have driven over 150 mph…Don’t worry it was on a race track.
