The African American Parents’ Association will host parent and student informational seminars to address the Toledo Public School’s Discipline Policy and its implementation, throughout the 2008-09 school year. According to a news release, “These seminars will provide information on what the rules are, what the law is, what your rights are, and how to advocate for the student, when suspended or expelled.”

The first three seminars will take place at the Kent Branch Library on the third Monday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The dates are: Oct. 20, 2008, Nov. 17, 2008 and Dec. 15, 2008.
