This week was a hectic one for me, personally and blog wise, and to be honest I did not think I was going to have time to research blogs for this week. Then, at crunch time it hit me as to what I should focus on, Time Management Skills. Even though I consider myself to be a fairly good multitasked, I sought out blogs that could provide tips.
The first blog I discovered was the Management Skills Blog, where I first felt better about myself since I discovered I do have a “post it notes” mentality. This blog is designed for business managers but I found some of the information written there helpful as far as non-business related as well.
Brazen Careerist is the name of the blog written by Penelope Trunk. There are many great posts here that will help you when it comes to making the most of your career and time management. One of my favorite posts written by her while written in 2006 still applies today, 10 tips for time management in a multitasking world.
How organized are you? When you read Get Everything Done you’ll discover where you are at and what you can do to improve. It’s not only an informative blog but very entertaining.
An interesting way of viewing your level of performance using the a martial arts theory of “belts” can be found at The 2Time Management Blog. In addition to the material provided what makes this blog unique is it comes from Jamaica.
No review of time management/how to be a better multi-tasker would be complete without including LifeHack.org. It’s one of my favorite places to go and if you are going to read only one blog on how to organize your life better? This one is it.
