Before the days of the Internet, mothers still gathered when they felt called into action. The phone was the uniting force. Now with the internet, a mere mom with a blog can create what is called a “blogstorm” on any number of topics or use blogging to connect with moms facing similar issues.
First, the League of Maternal Justice, their cause is taking issue with Facebook’s removal of pictures of nursing mothers. They have created what they call the “Boob Squad” and on October 10th, they are making a call for all moms out there to “Bare your boobs for justice in the Great Virtual Breast Fest of 2007.”
Adoption is an often covered topic by some Moms (and Dads too), I found an interesting perspective on adoption written from the eyes of Jenna Hatfield of Ohio who’s first child was placed for adoption.
