Put those thinking caps onWritten by Lisa Renee Ward | | email@example.com
At times blogs are created with one specific purpose in mind, with the majority of content focused on that one purpose. Until Death Do Us Part has one goal, to point out the problem of Domestic Violence and to make sure there is a place online where these victims are remembered. It’s not an entertaining blog, but it is a very important one that should be read.
A very recent blog that’s off to a good start is, The Toledo Tattler by Matt. He states on his profile that he is a member of the famous Toledo "Brain Drain" and offers an interesting perspective on issues.
Interested in the campaign of John Edwards? A local blogger, Mark Adams is the creative force behind Ohio for John Edwards. It is not an “official campaign” blog but to quote Mark, “No entries have been approved by the Candidate unless otherwise indicated, but we’d like to think we’re all on the same page.”
Next, I want you as readers to join in; most of you know what a blog “meme” is, for those of you who don’t, bear with me. Recently on one of my personal blogs I was included in a list of “Five Blogs that make you think and Why”. If I wanted to participate, then I had to come up with five blogs that made me think and why to post on my blog. That is the basics of most memes, a challenge, acceptance of the challenge and an answer followed by a challenge to others.
So, I challenge you, the readers to send me the URL to two blogs that make you think and why. This is not a contest as we’ve done before, though I will acknowledge those blogs that get more than one entry. Your entries as well as your reasons why will be featured in Blog it! Toledo columns in the weeks to come, this is open to those of you who do not have a blog, but if you are a blogger? Make sure to include your URL as well. The email address to send these submissions to is firstname.lastname@example.org – and please put the word “Think” in the subject line.
