New blog focuses on women’s issuesWritten by Lisa Renee Ward | | email@example.com
This week we head back into the local scene with some new blogs and websites as we ask the non-musical question, “What do you do if”…
What do you do if you are a 40 something woman who is interested in health, nutrition and want to provide information as well as create discussion with other women? You create JustSimplyHolly. Holly shares her thoughts as well as some great resources in a local blog that I feel has a great future.
What do you do if you are a husband of a political junkie blogger who has several blogs and has a newspaper column? You create your own blog called, I’m Sorry What?. Miguel’s focus is on what interests him at the moment to write about from news items, to personal to other things he’s found while wandering the net.
What do you do if you’ve been a commenter on many local blogs and message boards and want to get your thoughts out there? You create Uncommon Squalor to create discussion on local and national issues. Agree or disagree, Sepp makes his positions on the topics he posts about clear.
What do you do if you are trying to promote local hot spots? You create Toledo Party Blog where information on upcoming events is listed as well as links to local places. As one example, I’d heard of Club Sin but after viewing their website, it made me want to dress up, don those red boots and head downtown.
What do you do if you are trying to support Local Eateries? You create Toledo Restaurants United. TRU is more than just a discount program it also has a reward program and they provide links/information to all of the Restaurants that participate. One of my favorite spots, Packo’s at the Park is a member.
