Council candidate creates online business surveyWritten by Autumn Lee | | firstname.lastname@example.org
Toledo City Council candidate Dave Schulz has created a business survey that can be accessed from his Web site, www.davidschulz.com.
According to a news release, the survey asks questions about taxes, infrastructure and attitudes toward how business friendly city government is.
“Too many of our candidates and elected officials talk about being business friendly, well, I really mean it,” Schulz said in the news release.
Schulz advocates reducing or eliminating fees placed upon businesses and reducing the business income tax from 2.25 percent to 1.75 percent, the release stated. “We need to find ways to level the playing field in Toledo so that we can retain and attract jobs providers in Toledo,” Schulz said in the release.
Schulz, an elected member of the Ohio Republican State Central Committee, is currently serving his second term on the committee. The district he represents includes Toledo, Oregon and Jerusalem Township.
Schulz is currently a production and materials manager for Bionix Development Corp., a north Toledo medical device manufacturer, the release said.
More information on Schulz can be found on his Web site.
