BLOG IT, TOLEDO

Every week I come across at least one blog that I wished I would have found even earlier, this week that blog is http://beingmissmaumeevalley.blogspot.com. Being Miss Maumee Valley. Written by Abby Bollenbacher who is the current Miss Maumee Valley and is competing for Miss Ohio, she shares her thoughts and her experiences. Let’s hope she brings the title of Miss Ohio home to Holland, Ohio.

http://www.evilcheesewedge.com/blog Evil Cheesewedge is not just an interesting choice of a title but an interesting blog as well. He not only plays in a band called Ragefire, but is working on a book. You can hear the band by clicking on his Myspace profile listed on his blog. He promises more information on the book project will follow.

Interested in tips from a housewife on everything from cleaning to home remedies? Then http://journals.aol.com/jillannemarie/HousewifeLife This Simple Housewife written by Jillannemarie is the blog for you to visit. The post on the use of clove oil for muscle pain caught my eye.

I can’t resist cute babies so, http://neilberg.blogspot.com Blog of Berg caught my attention immediately. Yet besides oooing and ahhing over how cute baby Joel is, there is additional great content to read. Neil’s post on a recent experience with a charity is highly recommended.

Turning to politics, I’ve been reading Paul Miller’s blog http://northwestohio.net/cblog

Newshound for a very long time. Paul puts a great deal of time and research into his blog articles. I’ve learned quite a bit from some of the articles Paul has posted, as well as appreciating being involved in his weekly Carnival of Ohio Politics that features blog articles from bloggers all over the State of Ohio.

Last for this week, check out http://mtbohio.com Ohio Mountain Bike Association. They have several blogs as well as maps and information on Mountain Biking in Ohio. Not a lot on our area though, so perhaps some of our local bikers can join in to correct that. The only place listed near us is a trail in Napoleon. Yet the site is a place to go if you want to be inspired to ride more, it made me dust off my mountain bike.

When she’s not finding out that clove oil can be helpful when over doing riding her mountain bike, Lisa Renee can be found on her own blog, http://glasscityjungle.blogspot.com Glass City Jungle. If you come across a blog you’d like her to know about, email her at glasscityjungle@gmail.com.
