Blog it, ToledoWritten by Lisa Renee Ward | | firstname.lastname@example.org
This week, all the featured blogs come from Toledo Bloggers. Some of the past blogs featured have been from there as well, but this week I’m taking a moment to acknowledge this group as well as to share a few of the blogs chosen this week. If you are a local blogger, come on over! It’s where most of the hottest blogs can be found.
What happens when four Air Traffic Controllers combine a love of mini choppers, welding, and technology? Micah Maziar, Rob Horodyski, Brian Vidis, and Jeff Hormann can show you at Lucas County Choppers. They don’t just blog about their projects but share video of each project. If I gave grades for blogs, this one would be an ”A”, for addictive.
Keeping with my ”A” blog grades this time for adventure, is Paul’s Down-Home Page where Paul Robichaux blogs about his first cruise experience on The Golden Princess. After reading his first entry on this Western Caribbean cruise, I can’t wait to read more. Paul also gives some good resources for those considering booking a cruise.
Absorbing is the first ”A” word that comes to mind when reading Catching Flies. There are several thought provoking posts on Academic Freedom that concern not only this area but the nation. Not only opinion but thorough sourcing is a mainstay of this blog.
Cool Calm & Collected is one of Rick Reed’s blogs. His post on images he’s discovered on local.live.com for our area alone earns an ”A” for amazing. I’d give it away but that would ruin it. So you’ll have to visit if you want to find out.
Robin’s Random Snippets and Loose Thoughts recently had its one year Anniversary. While it might seem like the right ”A” word for what’s been happening in Robin Gorrell’s life right now would be ”Achoo”; she manages to blog thru it providing a smile for those who read her posts.
Each week, Lisa Renee Ward, who has her own blog at http://glasscityjungle.blogspot.com/, will link to several hot topics, sharing with you her version of the ”A” list in Toledo blogging each week. If you have a favorite local blog or post to share, e-mail her at email@example.com
