Swarm of hummingbirdsWritten by D.M. Stanfield | | email@example.com
One of my favorite things about, and a peculiar feature of, my house is the swarm of hummingbirds attracted to the property each morning and evening. This is a picture of their favorite feeding spot (just outside the bath window) which I must necessarily refill as often as twice a week. This is the best of perhaps 1,500 hummingbird photos taken thus far this year. To keep the hyperactive birds from being scared away, the camera and I were concealed beneath a drape of extra large bath towels, which also served to muffle the sound of the shutter.
